Q: How long does it take for me to start
seeing results?
.. |
|
A: Most of our clients begin to see results
in the first 30-45 days as their initial symptoms
of pain begin to improve. Deeper levels of healing
such as changes on blood work and urine samples
take a longer time to show changes.
Q:
What happens after the initial 30-45 days? How
does the process work?
A: ICHS
offers care on three levels. An introductory
series of visits is geared to help you begin
to improve symptoms. You will need to be seen
either two times a week, or in very severe cases,
three times per week. On this level, we focus
on balancing the spinal column and extremities,
and on relaxing the spinal nerves to allow them
to flow freely from the brain into the entire
body, organs and glands without any interference.
It has been compared to opening a circuit breaker
to the electricity of your home. This is a major
component in restoring your body to optimum
health.

The second level of care will focus on restoring
health through enhanced nutrition. By evaluating
your nutritional needs through Applied Kinesiology
and blood and urine samples, your body will
begin to undergo changes on a cellular level,
and when the tissues and cells of the body are
supplied with the proper nutrition, and then
the adjustments work a whole lot better.
In the third level of care, we focus on maintenance
and education. People come in on an as needed
basis, sometimes once a month. It’s like
going to the dentist for a cleaning to make
sure there are no cavities. This is the peak
of preventative health care. You don’t
want to go to the dentist only when you need
a root canal. So it is with other areas of your
health. Don’t wait until you are bent
over in pain to take care of your spine organs
and nervous system.
Q:
Do you take insurance?
A: Chiropractic
care is covered by many insurance companies
to help you get out of pain. This is what level
1 is all about. Once your pain has improved,
the responsibility is upon you to pay for your
care. In essence, if you really want to free
yourself from dis-ease and feel your best, it
is your responsibility. No one else is going
to take care of you.
Q: Can I stay on my present medications?
A: Yes. In fact, we advocate that you do.
However, as your health improves, we suggest
that you work closely with you medical Dr. to
monitor your medications, and if it is indicated,
lower the dosage until you no longer need that
medication. Based on how chronic and severe
the problem is, some medications can not be
reduced.

Q: Can I use my current Primary Doctor?
A: Yes.
Q:
I have a General Primary Doctor, a Dentist,
and a specialist. What can I hope to accomplish
with your services?
A: If your
current methods are accomplishing all of your
health related needs, then of course you have
created an optimal system for yourself. In our
experience, many people are not experiencing
the results they would like to have, and quite
truthfully, their health is failing. We recognize
that there is a cause for this failure, and
work together with you to determine why your
body is not reaching for better levels of health
and well being. If you take the time to be involved
in all aspects of your health, you will feel
more in control of your life. You could continue
to utilize your Doctor, dentist and specialist,
but as you begin to overcome your present dis-ease
state, you’ll be more equipped to make
effective choices regarding your own health
care.
