Slow and Fast Oxidizers
Date : 11-Jul-2013

Hello Everyone,
People go on diets for many reasons. You may want to lose weight, or you may have some medical issue that you want to improve through diet. There are so many diets out there and all of your friends are recommending a different diet!
How do you know which diet is best for you?
I'm not going to answer all of your questions in one email, however, I would like to give some serious nutritional advice that can help you work on improving your diet.
Today I want to teach you about slow and fast oxidizers.
A slow oxidizer is someone who digests his food very slowly. This means that when he (or she) eats a meal, three hours later that meal is just getting into the system. This person does well on detoxification diets. Lots of vegetables, fruits, and lower fats and proteins. Choose the lighter fats such as olive oil and relatively fat free proteins such as white meat chicken, and veal. Fish could be in the form of flounder, tilapia, and turbo. Digestive enzymes, and exercise is very good for the slow oxidizer. You can snack on vegetables and some low fat cheese. Eat less calories and keep very active.
A fast oxidizer is someone who digests his food very fast. Usually he is hungry and is always looking for something to fill his stomach and quench his appetite. The fast oxidizer does not do well on detoxifying diets. They need more proteins and fats to help slow down the digestive process. Fats can be in the form of coconut oil, olive oil, butter. Proteins should be in the form of dark meat chicken, and even red meat. Fish needs to be more fatty such as in salmon, fresh tuna, sardines, and trout. You must snack throughout the day with proteins and nuts in order to keep you satiated.
Putting together a diet is a very personal matter. To do it properly takes a little bit of knowledge. I hope to continue to give you nutritional tidbits of information that can give you the knowledge to modify your diet so you can maximize your results.

As usual, please send me your feedback so I can give you the information you need to improve you health and well being.
Until next week......
